Kaijie interrogates Jinlong but Jinlong denies he is a murderer. Kaijie tells Jinlong that on Kaiqi’s wedding day, Kaida had a relapse and had to be sent to the mental hospital. Kaijie tells Jinlong he is responsible for all this and he will not let Jinlong off. Lin Fei still cares for Jinlong and helps Xiao Gu to engage a lawyer for Jinlong. Kaijie is unhappy over this and is more determined than ever to put Jinlong behind bars.
