Jinfeng undergoes an operation to deliver the baby but both mother and child dies in the failed operation. Jinlong who has just been released from prison is shocked and saddened by the turn of events. Meanwhile, Kaijie silently heaves a sigh of relief. He Mian Qing protests his innocence and declares his impotency due to an earlier accident. Jinlong senses there is something more to Jinfeng’s death.
